“Rescued a Malinois Husky a few years ago at the shelter, she was just a 4 month old puppy. She is now my fully trained working dog and my best friend. She never stops smiling since the day I got her. The staff was amazing and had us on our way in no time. Thank you all for what you do every day for these animals.”

“Last year I decided to get the meanest cat in the shelter named Balthazar. He turned out to be quite a sweetie pie. I renamed him Bali since after quite a bit of research I found out he is Balinese cat also since it sounds like his original name. There are a lot of much sweeter cats at Twin Falls Humane Society and they take amazing care of their animals”

“I adopted a stray this week. The process was effortless with most of it done over the phone. The staff was exceptional. I had to wait a couple weeks to pick my little puppy up per the schedule of surgery. We have been home now for almost 4 days. My little guy is just fabulous. I have had several dogs from shelters in the past. They always have some issues whether it be men with hats, loud noise, etc. this one does not, which says a lot of the care from the shelter. Twin Falls should be very proud and lucky to have such a caring facility for our fuzzy friends.”

“Absolutely horrible experience twice. I have gone in to adopt an older cat. Both times staff says they are in quarantine and not up for adoption check back. I check and staff says they are gone. Ok so not up for adoption yes, but clearly I'm interested enough to pay adoption fee. 2nd time I show tons of interest and ask how to I adopt him. Well they decided to ship a few cats to another rescue so they have a better chance of getting adopted. What the heck I'm asking to adopt this cat! I asked can I have the rescue name so I can adopt him? They said no we have to keep that confidential. I have never been treated worse at a place that's supposed to be helping animals find their forever home. I will never donate to them again or walk in those doors to adopt a cat again. If you're looking to adopt a pet, there are other shelters in our area that will treat you better and actually help you adopt an animal.”

“Very friendly staff. I found my absolute best friend there. He's a Black Labrador and is likely the best dog I've ever had. Whatever I paid in adoption fees is the smallest fraction of what he's worth to me. It's amazing what other people discard. Thank you so much Twin Falls Animal Shelter!”
