“We had a great experience at Koolminds! My 12 yr old son went through the 26 week cognitive therapy program. His grade level in reading, math, and spelling has improved. We went once a week and also did the practice sessions at home 3-4 times a week. I think he really showed so much improvement because we practiced the lessons at home between sessions. This is a wonderful program that I think is very effective but you also have to be willing to put in the work which means practicing at home. All of the tutors that we interacted with were very professional and caring. “The program was fantastic. It allowed my son who was struggling a little with focus and confidence to learn several techniques on focusing and training his brain to do things differently. It challenged him to learn to complete very hard tasks and helped build his confidence, seeing the tasks at the beginning and thinking it was impossible to then mastering said tasks. “I really appreciate this program! We have seen a light come on with our son that has issues with auditory processing, focus and concentration, eye tracking with reading, and some cognitive issues. He used to fight the entire process of schooling and be a nightmare in daily life. He couldn't take verbal instructions because his mind would shut down while listening. Now, his eyes are stronger and he can read without the words blurring, or accidentally skipping lines. He also can understand a lot more with verbal instructions. He is able to focus while working on math problems a little better. In general he has been easier to work with and his moods have greatly improved overall! That is probably the achievement we are the most grateful for! This program is costly, but we were able to get in on the tail-end of a scholarship, and then a nice discount for the the last month. Our son still has a journey ahead of him in his learning process and experiences, but Kool Minds has given him a foundation he wouldnt have had and that is a huge blessing!”
