“My experience, after being with Farmers for over a decade: during a meeting, Ashley recommended updating my home insurance policies. I allowed the change, which required a home inspection. Inspection took place, they reported that my shingles needed to be replaced. Also refused to pay a dime for it, which sucked, but it was normal wear so I replaced them out of pocket myself. Once replaced, Ashley told me that my rates were going up close to x10 from what they were, even though I had already replaced my shingles (which weren't in BAD shape, they were just worn). When I met with her, she ultimately recommended that I go to another company because she was surprised by just how bad her company's options were. I understand that this is likely more the corporation's fault than Ashley's, but I am still giving a 1-star because after a decade of being with this company, Farmers/Ashley was not able to provide me with a remotely satisfying option and ultimately recommended that I seek options elsewhere. Customer loyalty is non-existent. Neither of us were unpleasant. She returned my calls in reasonable time. But the end result earned the rating.”
