Cedar Park sits in the northwestern corner of the Austin metro area, spanning Williamson and Travis counties along US 183 and FM 1431. The city anchors the northern edge of the Texas Hill Country, with Round Rock to the east, Leander to the west, and Austin's Domain area about fifteen miles south.
