It was a great success, our guests loved the venue, we the parents’ selecting our event’s location at the San Diego’s favorite attraction of the Gaslamp Quarter caused the desired very favorable reaction from our guests, it was an exciting change from the usual place of having it in hotels and beach atmosphere venues. The owner and management of The Sinclair were great in ascertaining our event was a success, they were very supportive throughout the whole process of our celebration. “Where do we even begin! Choosing Rancho Guejito as our venue was truly the best decision we could have made. The property itself is absolutely stunning, but what really sets it apart is the incredible team behind it. Nicole, the venue manager, is beyond talented at what she does, and on top of that, she’s such a genuine, kind person that makes you feel like you’ve gained a friend through the process. From touring and booking, to wine tasting with Adam (their wine is incredible!), to the wedding day itself, everything was seamless. Nicole was always so responsive to my questions, and she made us feel supported every step of the way. The venue itself is so thoughtfully designed, our hair and makeup team raved about the spacious, beautiful getting-ready suites and said the layout was absolutely perfect. On top of that, I can’t tell you how many of our vendors mentioned how much they love working with Rancho Guejito. Everything about the venue is vendor-friendly, which made the day run so smoothly. Our friends and family were blown away by the beauty of the space and how flawlessly everything came together. “We had our wedding at The Lane two weeks ago and couldn’t have been happier with the way our day turned out. The location was perfect, second floor in the same building of two hotels where most of us stayed at which made things very easy from rehearsal to day of. Water is across the venue making for a beautiful sunset. Eva, the venue manager, was so friendly and communicated everything that was needed and assisted us, as well as our wedding coordinator, with any questions we had. The market lights out on the balcony where we had cocktail tables set a nice vibe where our guests were able to get some fresh air. Music inside can go until 12am which was a big plus to this venue compared to other venues we toured. Only thing I will say is that we had our ceremony fully out on patio for 135/140 guests and walking down the aisle was a bit tight; we had flower vases along the aisle which didn’t help with space, as well as my long veil. 3 people (groom and parents) were not able to walk down together. Sun was bright around 5pm so whoever is facing the water might get some sun in their eyes! Besides that, everything was great and we had the most beautiful wedding. We knew The Lane was the one after touring it for the first time. Big modern space where your Pinterest board and vision can come to life. Thank you all!”

From our first call with Amanda who is one of the most helpful and sweetest people we worked with to our tour of the venue with her team we knew it was the place for our special day. Amanda was so helpful and answered all of our questions and was so accommodating throughout the whole process. This venue is truly the most beautiful venue we have ever stepped foot in, from the breathtaking views to the layout, floors, stunning entrance, built in bar, outdoor fireplace, stunning long balcony with a view of Petco Park for a Padres game during your event, high ceilings and a folding door that offers an indoor outdoor experience. They also offer furniture that the venue owns for your event and it worked out perfect for our cocktail style reception. All vendors were familiar with the venue and worked seamlessly together to create the perfect wedding. We could not have been happier with this venue and we cannot wait to have another event here in the future. “We are so grateful for a fabulous series of days at The Chateau Escondido! The venue is so beautiful with its impressive architecture (including pillars, carved doors, lovely balconies) plus spectacular views from every space! Beautiful architecture was my daughter’s number one priority, and The Chateau fit her vision perfectly. The pictures turned out stunning! People online keep asking us, Where were these gorgeous pictures taken??! Our daughter sought a beautiful European-style chapel for her ceremony to no avail, but once she saw The Chateau, she found exactly what she had envisioned. She chose to get married in front of the impressive front door, using it and its stone pillars for an old-world church look. The lighting was perfect there and in so many other areas of The Chateau, exceeding expectations with the fantastic camera shots captured. We also loved working with the venue managers, who went above and beyond to make this week a complete success for our daughter and her (now) husband. They were not only attentive to our questions and requests (even including some thoughtful surprises), but they also leveraged their expertise to elevate our event in countless ways. The wedding day would not have gone so smoothly without their advice & support! The beauty of the chateau is having a venue over several days—not only for family and the bridal party to enjoy staying together (such a treat, especially with the huge kitchen and fun rec room!) but ALSO for hosting multiple parties. We used it for 1) A personal shower for our daughter and her bridesmaids (formal dinner with amazing views on the side turfed-deck of Chateau), 2) A rehearsal dinner for the bridal party, family, and out-of-town guests (formal dinner on turf area above reception space, again with stunning views), and 3) Our reception dinner down below in the typical reception space (perfect for our large farm tables draped in linens, fantastic views yet again). My daughter was also thrilled to have her cocktail hour in the main room of the chateau (shiny floor below/sparkling chandeliers above) while also spilling out to the lovely outside area with furniture, beautiful views included yet opposite side of reception space. The Chateau allowed us to celebrate all week and was like having 3 venues and a hotel in 1; we were so grateful for the versatility of the many spaces available. We had only one chance to give our daughter the wedding of her dreams, and we are so grateful that we were able to do so at The Chateau Escondido! We highly recommend this quality venue to anyone wanting a fabulous experience!”
