“Joel Tomei, East Sacramento, CA At 84 years of age, I have had lots of previous dental work done, ending up with almost a full mouth of implants, abutments, and crowns. I recently moved from San Francisco, where my previous dental work was accomplished but I was ready for a restoration. My previous Dr. in San Francisco referred me to Dr. Jonathan Szymanowski DDS for my implant needs and he referred me to Dr. Fat DDS (Prosthodontist) for the restoration work. The restoration work was a very complicated procedure having to deal with multiple implant brands. Every step of the process was done in a very detailed and strategic approach. I was amazed at how effortless all the work was accomplished because of their ability to organize all the custom work. My work still needs to be completed after some new implants are ready to receive that work. I am looking forward to the completion of this restoration in 2026. I feel so much better with my smile now. Thank you Dr. Fat and your team that included, Dr. Roman Shvets, DDS, KeriAnn, Todd and Jade (in the custom lab), Kathy, Cindi and others when needed. I called multiple dentists offices in Sacramento and Emergency Dental of Sacramento were the only ones who were happy to help me with same day, both x-rays and procedure. Dr. Skelton was so kind and professional, he could tell i was extremely nervous, as I've never had a tooth extraction before. He took time to reassure me and help relax. I had forgot the names but both the female front desk/assistant staff were so sweet as well, they answered any questions I had. Even over the phone they were extremely kind to me. Before the procedure, they offered me a blanket to assure i was comfortable the whole time. The extraction was fast! I felt no pain during it! “Very clean, aesthetically pleasing office. Every interaction with staff was pleasant. I’ve had bad dental experiences before so I didn’t know how my body would respond coming in. I was truly very pleased with the whole experience. The staff added little touches here and there to consistently make my experience as pleasant as possible. Alina the assistant gave me a warm pillow and blanket when I let her know my body typically shakes in the chair. She switched out equipment to child sizes when I told her I have a small mouth. I could tell making me feel comfortable was a priority for her. Kristin was emphatic and warm, her presence very calming. I didn’t feel rushed, and she patiently answered any questions I had. Dr. Sajid was quick in a way that showed she was knowledgeable in her field. She presented possible plans for restoring my mouth in a way that gave me hope that I would be able to chew again normally( I’ve been told by multiple previous dentists that that’s just how my mouth is) and not have pain in my mouth. Their back office to front office transition was smooth & didn’t leave me wondering what’s next. Spencer was patient & knowledgeable in answering all my financial questions as well as scheduling me in a time that works best for my commute( I live an hour away). I haven’t been able to chew on the left side for the last couple of years and recently my right side has been in pain off and on for days. I delayed going to a dentist because I was scared & didn’t know who to trust. I feel good about this place. Hopefully I can update this review later this year saying I can chew again with no pain but based on first impression, first cleaning & exam, I definitely recommend this dental office.”

Today I saw Dr Oki and he was very friendly, professional, and answered all my questions very clearly. The attending named John was very nice, helped me with my X-rays and teeth cleaning. Very professional and it didn’t hurt. Margie at the front desk helped me before and after my visit, and was very kind and patient with me when my insurance wasn’t confirmed properly yet, and explained my insurance details clearly. Thank you for a pain free, actually kind of fun😂 wonderful visit”
