Right after the initial tour in October 2024, we immediately knew that this was the venue that we wanted to have our wedding reception at. It is so beautiful! Please be aware, this venue books up so fast so if you're still thinking about it - book that tour ASAP and get started!! It's so worth it. From the very beginning, we've had only positive experiences with the Palm team. The entire team was so easy to communicate and work with and we never felt any type of stress from this part of our planning process. Email responses were always lightning quick. We were introduced to our coordinator, Heather, a few months prior to our wedding date and she was a joy to work with. Very thorough and easy to communicate with. Hillview had availability luckily and were able to accommodate our event. Chandra was very responsive, helpful, and efficient. We worked with their preferred vendor for decorations, Festa. The hall can hold up to 250 people, has a dance floor, stage, 6 TVs to present from ( we did a slideshow), and a sound system to play your music from your phone using bluetooth. Additionally, there is a playground attached that you can use for kids during the event. Chandra and Hillview were a pleasure to work with and we will definitely host another event here in the future.”

This venue has everything you need! I love how the ceremony and reception areas are on the same property. The trees provide shade in all the right areas. The patio is spacious and feels so welcoming. Every part of this estate is beautiful and can be used for your special day. Our ceremony took place in the grotto area and we took couples photos on the lake side. The garden area has been renovated so there’s many places to sit, relax and have a quick lunch when in the area. The museum has three floors, so there’s plenty to see, so make sure you wear comfortable shoes! 👟 The bottom floor is the Nature Area, most kids love that area, to see and explore all the wild animals that roams in California. The “Welcome to Oakland” sign and “Oak tree” display is located on this floor. Awesome exhibit! The second floor is where you pay for your admission, the gift shop is here, one of the main rooms changes to new event or exhibition. It’s also next to the entrance of Town Fare restaurant! Great food and great vibes! The other room is based on history of technology and revolutions. Old school car and television, the history of the Black Panther Party, the Chinese Excursion Act, Angel Island, Paper brother and paper sister, the history of the great San Francisco fire and earthquake, the history of technology and so on. There’s even a small theater room too. The top floor is mainly art and statues, many hidden rooms to explore. We came on a weekday so that’s usually field trip days for kids, it wasn’t crowded either so we still got to see plenty of stuff. I will always come back and visit! 💕”

“Found this place by pure luck during a visit to SF and fell in love with the venue and headliner. Did an online search for bands playing on Friday night, listened to some songs on Spotify and YT, picked Analog Dog due to being a local band, invited friends and had a blast. The space is on the smaller end but the sound is spectacular even from the very back. If you're on the shorter end this is a great feature as it'll be difficult to get a good view from anywhere except the very front areas or standing on one of the pews along the side. Definitely get there early. Front bar has seating but it doesn't stream the venue's music. Balcony also has limited seats and small bar. Overall, absolutely a great venue for live music. Will definitely visit again.”

“The Pardee Home Museum (Italianate architecture) was built by the Pardee family. Three generations lived lived there from 1868 to 1981. The last survivor put the home in a trust that is run by a Board of Trustees. It's self-supporting and run by volunteers. The father (made money in the mines, was an eye doctor and a California State Senator) and his son was Governor of California who made the poppy flower CA's state flower; reformed prisons; and established the EBMUD. All furnishings and collections are original and left intact. The tour is about 1.5 hours. Tour was educational and interesting - it covers the entire residence of 3 floors. The tour guide was nice and knowledgeable. She kept the tour intense so you wanted to know more. She gave insights and tibits of the family. All questions were answered. The afternoon tea is delightful. The food is prepared from scratch with lots of love from the volunteers. They were friendly, personable and thoughtful. Since it was the day before Easter, they put some Easter bunny theme to the tea. Just lovely people who made a delcious three course of food assortment. I definitely recommend the tour to learn about Oakland history and to visit one of the last standing historical mansions. Tea was authentic - no crust on the bread :)”

“I can't recommend Wedgewood GGC at the Presidio enough to people who want to host a wedding in SF. It was the perfect venue for us by a long shot and it all comes down to all the employees and the network of vendors that all work in professional tandem to produce a most stunning event. Our Wedgewood Planner, Juliana who also was our Day Of Coordinator was helpful, calm, and attentive from day 1. Not a single detail was left unattended to and as a type A person who worries a lot, I didn't even have the chance to have a single worry on my big day. Wedgewood's package also is inclusive of many items which is a load off my mind as a bride. The food was phenomenal and the cook staff was extremely attentive to allergies that my guests had. Wedgewood also offers DJ and MC services which were done by iMobile and their man, John was a phenomenal MC and DJ throughout the night. I felt like a guest at my own wedding because of how taken care of I felt. John seamlessly introduced all my family members and played all the hits that made the dance floor rock the whole night. The event manager Fernando was so kind and attentive and was so accommodating while I hid in the green room to devour a personal plate of appetizers during Cocktial Hour. Every whim was accommodated with professionalism and empathy. Love the whole bunch from top to bottom and did I mention the venue views are drop dead gorgeous??? Have a summer wedding here. Beautiful views, great food, out of this world staff, no hot weather, inclusive pricing. Forever grateful to Wedgewood for making my happiest bride wishes come true.”

A friendly and welcoming staff at the security desk and a helpful property management team. Myles was a great ambassador of the building, helpful and available whenever I needed him. Our team utilized the amenity space for multiple different events, from small lunches, to full team meetings in their large conference room. The location was super accessible via the 12th Street BART station and also convenient to have a parking garage across the street. I also appreciated the use of the Ridy scooters for a quick errand nearby or to go pick up lunch just a bit further way. Access to the scooters was a great tenant perk. All in all, our time at the Rotunda was a great experience and I hope to revisit the building again soon.”

“Having our wedding at Casa Bella was the best decision we could have ever made. Not only is the venue absolutely stunning, it met all our non-negotiables (ceremony & reception in one area and close to airports/hotels) to make it as easy as possible for our guests. We worked with Leann and Yoselin and they are absolutely lovely throughout the entire process. The entire staff also did such an wonderful job making sure all our guests were well-fed - I didn't hear a single complaint the entire night. If you're looking for an inclusive venue, Casa Bella is a must. We went with their hors d'oeuvres, 3 course meal, open bar (I was overjoyed when they allowed bloody mary's as a signature drink and it was DELICIOUS) and late night snacks and everything was amazing. They also provided us with an outdoor ceremony tent to help us with the heat. Oh, and they have decorations you can rent at a cost or for FREE! We used Weddings with Athena as our coordinator, Celestial Petals as our florist, Ditto Dianto as our photographer, Benji Films (La Venus Studio) as our videographer, and DJ TN with Twin Spin Entertainment as our DJ/MC. All vendors were already familiar with the venue which made the entire planning a breeze. I hope to visit again as a guest as I will be recommending this venue to all future brides & grooms. I recently held a corporate event here, and not only was the food fantastic, but Jen's team was helpful, resourceful and accommodating. They were easy to work with, solution-oriented, and a pleasure to work with. We used both their Car Barn and Shop spaces, with food and reception in the outdoor patio and Car Barn, and our meeting in the Shop. It worked really well for our eclectic performing arts organization. Their pricing was more than fair, and they made it easy to bring in my own rentals and A/V company. Lots of different ways to re-work the space and adjust it to our needs. Though there is not a lot of parking nearby, we gave our guests Uber vouchers to use to promote ride-sharing. This funky, eclectic space was perfect for our needs and I highly encourage you to check it out for your next event!”

Planing a wedding can become overwhelming, but this event team is so personable. Relying on their preferred vendors, and getting every little question answered kept our minds at ease. We fell so in love with the space, we were able to use it for our rehearsal dinner the night before as well. We practiced the ceremony, and enjoyed pizzas and speeches around the fire pit. Guests loved getting to use the space for both events, and it made it easy on us to plan. It was very clear to us we were in the best hands in the industry, and our expectations were somehow still exceeded. The whole process turned out to be seamless and beautiful. The event staff was so down to earth and attentive, we seriously felt like royalty all day. We wanted an April wedding, and were kindly warned about potential rain... Lindsey kept us in the loop and was flexible offering us the perfect spot in front of beautiful redwood trees lining a small creek. This venue gave us the perfect mix of an outdoorsy feel, with a luxurious dining and dancing reception experience. The many different landscapes on the property made for stunning photos. It has been so special to look back on them and remember how Little Hills Events did such a great job of celebrating our unique love story. Months later as we prepared to welcome our baby girl we returned to Little Hills Events to host our baby shower in their picnic area. It was such a blast to return to the place we tied the not, and watch all of our family, friends, and little ones run around enjoying the games, open space, live music, and BBQ.
