“We had our wedding here last month, and it was so beautiful! It was important for us to celebrate our union in our favorite city and pick a place that was local venue. The indoor/ outdoor rooftop, Tulum style interior, and LA skyline made our day perfect. Our guests loved being able to mingle and dance while enjoying the gorgeous view of the city. It was a warm summer day, and it was a relief to enjoy the refreshing AC throughout the event. We rented the Photo Booth offered by our host and couldn't be happier. It was an elegant, high quality booth too that produced nice photos. The bartenders were friendly and personable which was greatly appreciated. On the same floor as Savanna, there is a brand new rooftop bar called Florentin which we were able to enjoy for about an hour after our wedding ended. The music was our vibe as well, we love some R&B. Overall, if you're looking for a modern wedding venue with a beautiful interior in DTLA w/ Valet - this is your spot! Bonus: The owner helped us book valet, bartenders, furniture and everything. AND they offer a Live Web Cam later in the evening that displays on the outdoor deck, so freaking fun lol Probably one of our favorite features. Shout out to Max for creating such an iconic venue! Michael and Amanda were on top of every detail, making sure mi hija, our famila, and all our guests were having the time of their lives. The décor was on point, the service was top-tier, and Jasmine (our event manager) handled things so perfectly that I barely had to lift a finger… which, as a dad at a big event, is basically a milagro. Guests are still talking about how amazing everything was and now half my famila wants to book this salon too. I’m starting to feel like I should get a referral commission or something! I think they. “The Secret House of Ivy is the cutest little hidden gem in downtown Downey. I had my wedding here 3/29/2024 and I’m so happy we chose this venue. It’s the perfect place to have an intimate wedding (or other event), it fits up to 92ppl formally sitting down. The venue itself is already SO beautiful on its own you need minimal decor and the staff is very friendly! They worked with me to make sure everything was exactly how I wanted. Karina is the one in charge and she was such a pleasure to work with. She is so detail oriented! She made the whole experience feel like it was all on a personal level and like she cared about the details of our wedding which was the best part for me. It’s a rare thing to find for a venue owner to care that your event looks amazing and also runs smoothly from beginning to end and Karina did just that! She provided us with helpful advice and just made the overall process as seamless as possible! But then when you get upstairs the actual space is so great, a big area with a great dance floor, a nice bar, and a stage for a live band. Honestly, I feel like this is such a great place for all kinds of events, whether it be for celebrations like quinceañeras or wedding receptions, or for other private events like holiday parties, corporate events, etc. this place really has it all. And I hear they might be hosting some social dancing events like salsa nights, which I'm really excited for. Major props to the owners for creating such a fun space. We got married here in November 2025 and it was the best experience I could've imagined for our semi-traditional ceremony (we had a beautiful but quick ceremony and took photos here before our larger reception at a dive-y concert venue). Tessie and Dan feel like close friends the second you meet them, so its easy to trust them to make everything run smoothly even when there is virtually no 'planning' - just a time slot, requests for song files (if desired), confirmation on group size, and whether to add a punch party to the celebration (highly recommend - Tessie was even ultra-careful to choose snacks that were safe for my peanut allergy). We didn't know exactly what to expect, but we knew it would be cute, and it sure was. Beautiful, in fact. The space is picture perfect, our exact aesthetic! If you are looking for a small wedding venue, I highly recommend Old Brown House for any couple who wants the ease of a Vegas chapel with the elegance of a traditional venue that feels vintage yet personal. “My experience at The Loft was more than I could have imagined. Dominique made the entire process easy from the very first tour of this beautiful space for my son Harley’s 1st birthday. I knew this was the perfect venue the moment I walked in and saw Dominique wearing a Harley-Davidson shirt, the exact theme of my son’s party. It felt like the ultimate sign. The complimentary hour for setup was such a blessing and more than enough time to prepare. Dominique went above and beyond by helping pull down tables, offering layout ideas, and lending a hand with things he didn’t even have to do. His extra gestures did not go unnoticed. He genuinely made sure I was set up for success and had everything I needed and more. My guests absolutely loved the venue and several even inquired about booking it for their own future events. Two standout features that drew me to this space were the changing table in the bathroom (which many other venues surprisingly did not have) and the ample parking available for all my guests. During the event, the staff were everywhere, yet unobtrusive. Each person working the event was friendly and helpful, always working – empty glasses were filled or removed immediately; doors opened in front of you each time you moved between buildings to use the facilities. The venue was beautiful, both inside the cathedral and outside in the courtyard – I think the pictures speak for themselves. The food was delicious, with each plate coming directly from the kitchen to the table - not from food warmers.
