The passed appetizers were instant crowd-pleasers—the chicken cigars were dangerously good, the seared ahi tuna was fresh and beautifully presented, and the wagyu bites were a total showstopper. People were literally tracking down servers for seconds (and thirds). The stations took things to another level. The pasta station was a hit with everyone, the Vegas carvery felt indulgent and on-theme in the best way, and the dim sum station added a fun, unexpected twist that guests kept talking about. It struck that perfect balance between comfort, flair, and “wow” factor—exactly what you want at a casino party. If I had to offer one small note for creative rework, it would be the tacos and tamales station—and that’s probably my Los Angeles roots talking. They were solid, but in a city where tacos and tamales are basically a competitive sport, that section just didn’t quite hit the same high bar as the rest of the menu. That said, overall Bite Catering delivered an exceptional experience: great food, great service, great flow, and a menu that felt curated rather than generic. We found the prices to be reasonable as compared to other vendors, and the quality of the menu, ingredients, and overall taste to be outstanding! Additionally, Summit allowed us to make several reasonable alterations to our chosen package, which we were really grateful for, due to several guest allergies, etc! Pam was incredibly communicative throughout our entire working relationship and we are so grateful. She made the process so easy! “Felice Catering was absolutely incredible for our party. We had a 60 guest house party and they set up in the courtyard. Everything was so professional, it felt like we had a fancy italian kitchen right in our backyard. They were able to serve all 60 guests in less than an hour, and everyone got to pick their own personal pizza. It was so memorable and the guests were in amazement with how cool it was to be able to choose your own pizza and have it made in a backyard in less than 90 seconds. Everyone loved it and the pizzas are absolutely incredible. We did a tasting with them early on but forgot just how delicious their pizzas our, I definitely recommend the Bianca. Isaac and two other workers showed up right on time and were ready to go right when they said they would be. I could not be happier with how amazing this whole process was and with how incredible the service was. I would definitely book with them again. Thank you!”

To begin with, the menu selection is as sophisticated as it can be. I’ve hosted events with meals at various venues, including a 5-star hotel, and never seen Chub’s unique and various selections. The best part is the uniqueness. Many of them are Asian fusion in Chub’s own recipe, greatly balanced to satisfy everyone’s pallets: Those, who were familiar with the dish, were surprised how different and leveled-up it was, and those who were not were enjoying exploring each piece of arts. Another thing that makes Chub’s stand out is the taste. Chef Daniel puts ample fresh ingredients in each dish. “We had an outstanding experience for our first catered event with LA Spice. The event planner, Andrea, was pleasant and easy to work with. She came and did a site visit to assess the possibilities for the party set up. A few weeks later we had to change the venue. She was completely unflustered, came back for another site visit and made new suggestions about the set up. As for the menu, she listened carefully to our parameters, then put together a menu that looked great on paper. She also worked with us to design the party layout including the colors for the table coverings, garden umbrellas, chairs, etc. On the day of the party, she arrived early to oversee the set up. The catering staff came shortly afterwards and worked in a well orchestrated fashion to put everything together in just about 30 minutes. The food that had looked good on paper was superb in both appearance and taste. The guests raved about the food long after the party! The service by the staff of five (Chefs: Conrad & Dante; Servers: Agustin & Dawn; Bartender: Seth) was top-notch — pleasant, professional, attentive, and good humored. Many of our guests complimented us on how we’d found this group for our event. For the size of our party and the food and service provided, the cost per person was very reasonable and lower than in our past experience with caterers. They had come highly recommended, and those recommendations were accurate! The food was delicious! Every guest raved about the meal, the desserts, everything. At the tasting, my takeaway was that I had never had food like that at a wedding before. Many guests agreed. The management of the evening was top notch. So professional! They worked well with the venue to make sure the evening ran smoothly. I just can't say enough about how awesome they were. I'd hire them again in an instant. “Chef Robert and team are absolutely exceptional. I cannot begin to recap how delightful and flawless Sweetpea was for my event. To begin, I called Chef Robert to share with him an elaborate idea I had for a dinner on the beach. Chef was extremely thorough with me, asking specific details so he can gauge wether or not he can accommodate my expectations. Chef Robert even personally took the time out of his busy schedule to drive out to the location which I wanted to host this oceanside dinner so he can visualize how he and his team will deliver their amazing catered experience. I sincerely appreciated this as it showed me I was working with a wonderful individual who truly cared about helping out their clients and aligning with their vision. Come the big day chef had set up a tent on the beach and provided all my guests with menus with an overview of what they will be having that evening. Chef Robert prepared most ingredients off site and assembled his team under a tent to take orders from the patrons, as well as plate and serve food with amazing presentation and top notch service. Chef Robert delivered a 10/10 on all aspects outside of his core service which was the actual food. This brings me to the final portion of this review. Chef Robert and his team prepared an absolutely delicious menu. We had chefs from our own family present and they themselves were blown away by the quality and freshness of the ingredients. Chef Robert prepared a charcuterie board for guests to graze on before the event began with fresh cheeses, fruits, and breads. After the main event the party ordered either chicken or ahi tuna, both of which were outstanding and filled with flavor, and presented beautifully despite the limitations that chef and his team were preparing and serving all of this on the beach with limited access to kitchen utilities. For desert chef had prepared a set of 3 pastries — lemon bar, tiramisu, and fruit tart. The guests were blown away at how delicious everything was and I was eternally grateful for how above and beyond Chef Robert and team delivered. Sweetpea has been my favorite catering experience ever. If I can give them 10 stars I would. Chef Robert and team are gracious, kind, and unbelievably accommodating. These perks are an absolute pleasure to have when accompanied by absolutely delicious food and presentation. Use Sweetpea for all of your events, you will not be disappointed!
