“Chef Cooper was my favorite word of mouth vendor that was recommended to me by the saxophone player, Vaughn Fahie, at my late spring garden wedding. After previously being scammed by another catering company taking my deposit and then going completely unreachable, I was at a total loss just weeks away from my wedding. Vaughn put me in touch with Chef Cooper and the rest was history! Very fortunately for us, Chef Cooper was available the weekend of my wedding and he got right to work with curating a menu specially for us. I greatly appreciated that he was always available via email or phone to discuss menu options and logistics for the big day. “We had a small dinner party that was catered by Princess and her crew. She was a fabulous hostess and made sure that everything was perfect for us. The food was absolutely delicious and the table setting was beautiful. She nailed it with every detail. The codfish croquettes were my favorite appetizer and the empanadas and potstickers were great too. We had a nice garden salad that tasted as wonderful as it looked. We had Salmon chicken roulade and jerk chicken with a side of mashed potatoes, carrots, and rice and beans. Not only was everything delicious but the presentation of the food was beautifully done. We had two picky kids and they couldn’t get enough of the jerk chicken. The bite sizer desserts were just as fabulous as everything else. I would highly recommend Bamboo Island catering!!!! The best!”

“Our wedding may have been a month ago, but we are still raving and reminiscing about how amazing it turned out, especially thanks to AYLI Events & Catering! We had our wedding at the California Botanic Garden in September, and we couldn't ask for a better wedding venue coordinator and catering team! Thank you, Shelly, Phyllis, and team! From the pre-planning questions to garden tours, to communication up until the big day, they were ready and available for our every need. Shelly was friendly, proactive, and gave us insight when we were unsure. She was also transparent when anything was an additional cost and whether it aligned with our vision & budget. We hosted our ceremony and reception at the California Courtyard (one of the many beautiful locations at CalBG), and our cocktail hour at the Sage Gallery. For days and weeks after, our guests said it was one of the most beautiful and personalized weddings they had ever attended. They were in awe of the view of the mountains (Mt. Baldy) behind us and we also lucked out with great perfect weather (not too hot/temperate for September!). An important element for us was the food & entertainment. AYLI catering knocked it out of the park, the food was fantastic!!! Friends kept raving about the miso citrus salmon, harvest salad dressing, cheesy artichoke bites, and the crowd favorite was the Thai Chicken Skewer! They also loved the mini cheesecakes and tarts! Family commented on how the bartenders were so professional, fast, and knew how to make every drink asked of them. Since my husband and I missed cocktail hour to take romantic photos, they also made sure to have someone bring appetizers and drinks over to us, so we ate! Top-notch service!!! Every detail was perfectly executed. We could not recommend AYLI events & catering enough! Thank you for making our special day perfect. Hope to have another celebration with them in the future!”

Sheree, our event sales manager, did an incredible job helping us plan A Night of Magic, from the mind-blowing strolling magicians to the delicious food provided by Colette’s Catering, every detail was spot-on. The Muckenthaler’s beautiful historic mansion was the perfect setting for music, dancing, and our holiday auction, with décor that paid homage to the classic 1920s Muck vibe. “This company has great food options, competitive pricing and their presentation is just down right impressive! We ordered bagel breakfast sandwiches, potatoes, fruit and a big side of bacon... the baegls were all different based on the meat type and were absolutely delicious! Chorizo & egg on a jalapeño cheese bagel, BLT & egg on Asiago, bacon, avocado & egg on plain, and a veggie & egg on an everything bagel... all set up nice with silver catering dishes, a black table cloth, laid out perfectly and their delivery guys stayed around to make sure our employees knew where everything was! Loved this experience as did all the employees in the company!! I will definetly use them again!”

“We had been working with Taste Catering for over a year ahead of my wedding. I chose a venue that was a clubhouse so they didn't come with any services. Taste Catering is basically an all-in-one company that allowed us to turn the club house into our dream custom wedding venue. We went for a Fall theme with custom DIY decorations. I worked directly with Lisa on everything and she was absolutely wonderful! We thought their pricing was fair, especially since they went out of their way to provide me everything that we were needing! The food was absolutely delicious!!! All our guests absolutely raved about how delicious everything was! We had salmon, chicken alfredo, and pasta primavera as our main entree items. The Salmon was my favorite!! “I've never heard of Zovs, a few of my friends have been coming here for years and have watched this restaurant build itself up, and I really wish I heard about this place sooner, because every time I opened my mouth and ate was one of those "you lean back in your chair and reflect" moments. Absolutely amazing. To start off once you get inside the bistro they keep it very fresh with natural light. It reminds me of what Javier's in Newport did with their semi outdoor revamp. The light is plentiful, it makes things open, more social. I love it. Our host was great in getting us a table, she was very kind. It also wasn't long before our waiter came by, I liked how the attentiveness was so quick. I came for brunch, so the menu itself isn't as plentiful with options as the dinner menu but there's something for everyone which I liked. It was 1pm but pancakes and French toast were still an option for appetizers, so I took a wild card and got the lemon ricotta pancakes and the baklava French toast which isn't pictured but we ate it all so quick I didn't get time to snap one. Both were EXTREMELY good, every single person who dipped their fork into the starters had something good to say, the airy lemon flavor with the light ricotta on the fluffy pancakes and the more sweet and soft feeling of the French toast. The braised short rib was extremely tender, I had some expectations for it since it is one of the highest priced options on the menu, and they knocked it out of the park. The hash browns and sauce on the bottom added that little extra kick you needed to complete a fork-full. The salad, I would have preferred just a little less dressing, but not close to even complaining about, it tasted great. I took it upon myself to walk through the back and get to the other side where the cafe is and grab some pastries, the pumpkin cheesecake and a matcha, a wonderful way to end the experience here.”

“This venue was absolutely perfect for our Christmas vintage–themed micro wedding. We had 27 guests, yet the space never felt empty—making it an ideal setting for an intimate celebration. We held our ceremony upstairs, and the layout worked beautifully for our group size. We appreciated the flexibility to decorate the space ourselves. We prepared our own centerpieces and ceremony décor, and Lori and her team followed our decoration instructions perfectly on the day of the wedding, which was incredibly helpful and reassuring. They even helped us with cleanup at the end of the event, something we truly appreciated. We also appreciated being able to use the venue’s TV for a game. We brought an HDMI Extender Male to Female Cable and a laptop, and on the day everything worked perfectly, allowing us to play a “Bride and Groom Trivia” game with our guests. We switched venues to CGC extremely late in our planning process, but from the very beginning, Lori was nothing but helpful and accommodating. With only two weeks before our wedding, she worked her magic—quickly arranging our tasting, scheduling a rehearsal, and working closely with us on details and décor. She was always willing to make adjustments and made the entire process feel smooth and stress-free. The food was also excellent. We chose a buffet menu with Caesar salad, chicken madeira, herb-roasted potatoes, and grilled Mediterranean vegetables, and our guests—from age 3 to 70—all agreed that everything was delicious. After exploring several venues with strict policies or little willingness to accommodate small weddings, CGC was a breath of fresh air. In Orange County, we believe this is likely the only venue that so warmly accepts a wedding of this size while offering such a reasonable price. From start to finish, Lori and her team treated us with genuine kindness and respect. Because a wedding is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, we wholeheartedly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a place that truly cares about your vision. There’s a lot more we could say about the team at CGC and Lori, but let’s just say it was definitely meant to be for us. Thank you for making our day truly special!”

“Bryan and Ray were amazing, I honestly expected them to be good because Kai seemed like he knew what he was talking about. My family is extremely picky and the food was top notch, we had a lot of people who had high expectations & they exceeded all them. I loved the service, how professional and cool they were. A lot of great service everyone kept complementing us and asking for the number to get catering. I told them 100% would hire them over and over, this won't be the last time. Loved it and highly rate them, we did Brunch items and service and food was worth every star.”
