I’m from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, so I called friends back home to see if they knew anyone in the area who could help me. They immediately referred me to Dr. Andrei Marcheck, knowing he trained under one of the most respected oral and facial plastic surgeons in Baton Rouge. From the moment I met him, Dr. Marcheck exceeded every expectation I had. He spent an incredible amount of time with me over multiple visits and phone calls carefully evaluating my injuries, fully explaining my options, and making sure I felt supported throughout a very difficult period. I was also feeling the affects of a severe concusion. His knowledge, compassion, and professionalism were obvious from the start. What truly amazed me was his integrity. After he had devoted substantial time to my case, I learned there would be no charge for any of it. I tried to give him $1,000 as a small token of gratitude, and he politely refused. It’s rare to encounter that level of honesty and heart in medicine. Dr. Marechek even took the time to create precise measurements and projections showing how far my facial bones were displaced, obtained surgical approvals, and scheduled an operating room.
