Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) is a 24/7 emergency and urgent care animal hospital in Seattle led by Medical Director Dr. Melanie Bowden, a WSU College of Veterinary Medicine graduate specializing in emergency medicine. VEG treats dogs, cats, avians, rabbits, ferrets, and exotic pets for emergencies ranging from accidents and injuries to gastrointestinal issues, respiratory problems, and end-of-life care. With no appointments needed, walk-in availability around the clock, and a commitment to keeping pet parents present during all care including surgery, VEG combines expert emergency veterinary services with compassionate, family-centered treatment.
