The Local Catering is Charlottesville's most experienced farm-to-table catering company, built on a foundation of the acclaimed Local restaurant established in 2008. Led by Executive Catering Chef Kari Hogan (Culinary Institute of America trained) and Catering Director Helen Aker, they specialize in full-service catering for weddings, corporate events, private dinners, and celebrations of any size. Their team brings 50 years of collective coordination experience and 30 years of combined fine dining expertise, sourcing from local farmers, artisan producers, breweries, distilleries, and award-winning vineyards throughout the region.
