Scott Goodman has spent over four decades practicing exclusively in criminal law, both as a prosecutor and defense attorney. He has tried nearly 200 jury cases in Virginia courts and has taught criminal law to lawyers through continuing legal education classes and to police officers at the State Police Academy. His son, Alexander Goodman, is a former Senior Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney in Louisa County (2018-2024) who prosecuted complex felonies including murder, rape, and RICO cases, and is recognized for his expertise in digital evidence and courtroom technology.
