    What Customers Love

If your little one has had a previous bad experience at the dentist- I would not recommend this place. Dr Peters will get visibly irritated if your child sheds a tear. I am very understanding that he has a job to do. But you’re working with children.. Maybe slowing down and explaining to a toddler what you are about to do would have completely changed the experience.

The dental hygienists did a great job engaging with and letting my daughter see tools and doing teach back. I am frustrated with the insurance claims process regarding anesthesia. But that's not their fault.

We had a wonderful experience here. Dr. Peters put me and my son at ease when we came in to address an infected tooth. It needed to be pulled that day, and Dr. Peters wasted no time getting to work. We were in and out within an hour. I was pleasantly surprised by how efficient and friendly everyone was. Great communication all around and we will definitely be back. Thank you for giving my son such a positive experience.

Just took my three kids (9,11,13) to see Dr. Peters yesterday. Most people don't like going to the dentist, but my kids love it because Dr. Peters and his staff make it such an enjoyable experience from start to finish! The waiting room is cheerfully decorated, the staff is welcoming, and the kids come back from their cleanings with big smiles on their faces. Dr. Peters is highly knowledgeable and always gives good advice on their dental health. Highly recommend this practice to all families.

I’m surprised this office gets so many good reviews. Although the office was clean and the staff seemed friendly, the moment I was asked to sign a consent form granting permission to treat my child without me being present I knew I was in the wrong place. My child needed simple procedures (meaning no surgery) and I didn’t see why I couldn’t stay with my child. I was told Dr. Peters makes no exceptions. I was also charged more than twice the amount other practices in the area charge for the treatment plan visit - a cost my insurance would not cover because it was not authorized even though the practice is in network. I give the practice 3 stars rather than 1 because Dr. Peters did take the time to answer all my questions, the staff seemed professional and the office was clean. At the same time, I’m reluctant to give this many stars because I was not happy with the treatment plan and Dr. Peters didn’t seem open to other possibilities. He was overpriced and I am not at all comfortable with delivering my child through door A and receiving an overwrought child through door B - something I witnessed twice while sitting in the waiting room. Simply not the practice for us. We ended up choosing Dr. Cook’s practice where I was allowed to be present during simple procedures, and Dr. Cook was flexible with the treatment plan and more reasonably priced. I was also happy with my second opinion from the practice at Zion Crossroads but my child felt most comfortable with Dr. Cook; very important that they go in with a calm mindset. Most importantly, I’m very happy with the results too now that the dental work is complete. * our visit with Dr. Peters was in 2019, so I don’t know if his policy has changed. I suggest asking before making a decision to go *
