“I really don't write negative reviews very much but I had the least relaxing facial of my entire life at this spa. The only reason I'm giving more than one star is that my mom had an awesome experience and my skin does look and feel great after the treatment. It was the experience during the facial that was the issue. Maybe I should have been more clear that I wanted my facial to be quiet and relaxing, but my esthetician talked to me almost the entire time she was doing my facial. What was really jarring was her bringing up a prominent political figure about 15 minutes into my service. It just doesn't seem professional to bring that up. Then, to make matters worse, she had to leave the room more than once to get products she didn't have in the room which kind of makes it feel like she wasn't prepared. So, the very relaxing hour long facial I had planned for me and my mom to end our trip together instead ended up being stressful and uncomfortable. Really a terrible memory to create in Charlottesville.”
