Jivamukti Yoga Collective- New York

Jivamukti Yoga Collective is the only official Jivamukti Yoga School in the United States, offering an integrated system of yoga practice rooted in ancient tradition and contemporary culture. Founded in 1984 by Sharon Gannon and David Life as a mission of compassion in action, the collective now operates as a nonprofit on the Lower East Side, uniting rigorous spiritual study with transformative practices of asana, meditation, sound, scripture, and community. Led by HaChi Yu and a team of esteemed women, JYC is devoted to accessibility, equity, and community care, reimagining what a yoga studio can be.
