“Dr. Chambers is an intelligent practitioner skilled at providing treatment for complex psycho-somatic needs. He is expensive, but he follows up with my other providers when asked. Also, he personally responds to voicemails if needed. I've been working with him for almost two years now. While I don't have another psychiatrist to compare him with, my sense is that he is conservative in his treatment plans, which I appreciate. He is a wonderful guide for walking someone through research informed pharmaceutical medication management. If a quick medication fix for ADHD is what you're looking for, he's probably not the best match. However, I highly recommend him for those with complex needs looking to add medication into their integrative mental health plan. He is responsive to, accepting of, and encourages all forms of psycho-somatic treatments (functional nutritional medicine, yoga/energy work, talk therapy). When he doesn't know something, he is willing to admit it, which I also respect in a medical provider.”

“Starting off with a new Psychiatrist is always challenging but I was immediately put at ease by Dr Chambers. He is very knowledgeable not only about bipolar but by the medications which are the most effective. He discusses the side effects & benefits at length but never denies that many of the medications may also be used for other mental issues which can make one very anxious. He is direct but realistic about the care & management necessary to hopefully reducing my medications with time I appreciate his making me feel that I .too must play a roll in my own bipolar condition. I am very grateful for his encouragement. Mariaroza Opperman”

“After having several different psychiatrist experiences since this one, I have changed my rating. It appears he works well for some people. I have no doubt he's knowledgeable. You essentially go down a checklist of yes/no/sometimes questions and then are diagnosed from that. The same type of questions on silly online quizzes. I felt like he very much couldn't wait for me to get out of there, he was distracted from my baby while I was speaking to him, incorrect notes on me, and just a little bit of socially awkward vibes. It was just uncomfy. It doesn't feel like you're speaking to someone with a private practice, it feels like someone at a free clinic that doesn't really care. I only went 2-5 times. I can't remember. I abruptly stopped going after having meds increased and no phone call or hint of concern about abruptly ending meds. Loved the woman in the office. She was the best part for me. Super nice! I hate writing negative reviews, but I just feel like it's fair for people to know. Especially with a psychiatrist.”

“Wasted my time, did not help at all. Would not recommend. Refused to prescribe drugs I am already prescribed.”
