Centro Hispano de East Tennessee is a leading Latino-serving nonprofit organization in Knoxville dedicated to empowering the Hispanic community through education, workforce development, and civic engagement. They offer English as a Second Language (ESL) classes at five levels, HiSET/GED preparation in Spanish, medical interpreter training, and financial literacy workshops. Beyond language instruction, Centro Hispano provides youth mentoring, afterschool programs, small business consulting, job training, legal and healthcare referrals, and community resources to help Latino families thrive culturally, educationally, and economically in East Tennessee.
