“The plan was to wait for our son to graduate college, wait for him to get a job, then merge our three incomes to get that loan that would take us out of our 700 square foot condo onto something with a yard. We wanted out of the shackles of HOAs, cramped spaces and unintentionally hearing through walls. But what we really wanted is space for Damien, our Border Collie pup, for his zoomies be it indoors or out. “I have been advised that loans with more than two borrowers can be very complicated and difficult to get through underwriting”, a lender said to me after almost a month of back-and-forths. We really didn’t know much about home buying so we took this as a sign that we were going to be stuck in a condo forever. Blane himself was courteous and concise. We reciprocated by giving him and his team all the documents they needed as soon as we could.
