“Twin Falls SKA is a great organization to learn karate from. Jesse is a fantastic instructor who is enthusiastic at every practice, and the members I’ve had the pleasure of practicing with are all amiable and willing to help me learn. It can be hard work but in my opinion every ounce of effort is worth it.”

“I was looking for a place to learn martial arts in Twin Falls a few years ago, and Twin Falls Shotokan Karate was the clear choice. The instructor, Jesse, is enthusiastic and makes learning fun, but also encouraged students to push themselves and take their training seriously. Where this class has really shown it's quality is during quarantine, when Jesse helped lead students though learning online with Zoom practices, and later during the summer teaching classes outside at Harmon Park. The physical exercise and social contract of this class during 2020 was one of the only things keeping me going. 10/10, if you're looking for a place to learn a martial art, self defence, or get some exercise in a fun and engaging way, I can't recommend Twin Falls Shotokan enough.”

“Great dojo and organization. Love that ska is true to the traditional roots and discipline of karate from Master Funakoshi.”
— Shelley Bonnes, Google Review
“I have worked with Jesse for sometime now. He is not only very knowledgeable about Shotokan Karate but also on how to work with people. He knows when to push people to their next level and when to slow down for explanation. Not to mention he is a rising star out of the intermountain region. I value Jesse as an instructor and friend, I know he can help anyone reach their martial arts goal.”
— Robert Szakacs, Google Review
“My whole family, except myself, does Shotokan karate. They love it and they often work on their skills together at home. Having Jesse as their instructor has been an amazing experience!”
