Our kids (ages 7 and 10) absolutely loved Bigfoot in the Smokies! They were fascinated by the footprint casts and kept talking about the Cherokee legends all week. It was educational but really fun, and we got great family photos with the life-size Bigfoot. Perfect rainy day activity during our Gatlinburg trip.

I'm a skeptic but really enjoyed this attraction. They present the evidence and local history without pushing you to believe anything. Learned a lot about Appalachian folklore and the actual wildlife of the Smokies. The exhibits were well-done and my teenage son thought it was cool. Worth the stop.

So much better than expected! Bigfoot in the Smokies had way more educational content than I thought—actual Cherokee stories, maps of local sightings, even info about how bear behavior gets misidentified. My daughter is doing a school project on folklore now. And yes, the photo ops are hilarious and worth it alone.
