Saw a metal show here last month and was blown away by the sound quality. The balcony view was perfect—could see everything without being in the pit. Historic building is beautiful and the bars kept lines moving. Best venue in Knoxville hands down.

This venue brings amazing indie and alternative artists to town. Saw two of my favorite bands here this year. The intimate size means you're actually close to the performers. Love the exposed brick and industrial vibe—makes every show feel special.

Been to at least a dozen shows at The Mill & Mine. The staff is always professional, the sound is consistently excellent, and the location makes it easy to grab dinner downtown before the show. Only place I want to see concerts in Knoxville.

    Common Questions

How early should I arrive for a show?
    +
Doors typically open 60-90 minutes before showtime. Arrive at door time if you want a good main floor position near the stage. Arriving 30 minutes before the opening act is fine if you're headed to the balcony or don't need to be right up front. For sold-out shows, earlier is better.
Can I take photos and videos during the concert?
    +
Personal phones are allowed for photos and short video clips for most shows. Avoid blocking others' views by holding your phone up for extended periods. Professional cameras with detachable lenses and video recording equipment are not permitted. Some artists request no photography—these policies will be announced.
What's the difference between main floor and balcony?
    +
Main floor is general admission standing room where you can get closest to the stage but expect tighter crowds during popular shows. The balcony is elevated with excellent sightlines from everywhere, easier bar and bathroom access, and less crowding. Both offer great experiences—main floor for high energy, balcony for comfort.
Will tickets be available at the door if I don't buy in advance?
    +
Popular shows often sell out in advance, so we strongly recommend buying tickets online ahead of time for guaranteed entry and usually lower prices. Day-of-show tickets may be available at the box office if the show hasn't sold out, but prices are typically higher.
Is there food available at the venue?
    +
The Mill & Mine focuses on beverages with multiple bars throughout the venue. No outside food or drinks are permitted. The venue's downtown Knoxville location means dozens of restaurants are within walking distance if you want to eat before the show. Many concert-goers grab dinner nearby then head to the venue.
