“Speaking as someone who was visiting from Atlanta, where there are plenty of IV bars, and therefore, more market competition. My review is based on a comparison to the IV bar I frequent at home, Vida Flo (a chain with multiple locations serving metro Atlanta). Coming to this IV bar in Charlottesville, they lost points on service time, price, and product. It took almost an hour from checking in to have our two IVs placed (there was only two other people there receiving IVs), whereas my normal spot takes 15 minutes max and also mixes their bags in-house. The bag I received here was also half the size (500ml instead of 1,000) and considerably more expensive as a result. For reference, both places charge $129 for non-first time customers with no add-ins, but I’m used to receiving 1,000ml versus 500. I’m also a member at my spot, so it’s actually $80. Their add-in bags are also way more expensive (can compare to the Vida Flo menu). The Drip Bar was comfortable, but not outfitted with enough amenities for the wait time. We were in a tiny room with no TVs/entertainment waiting for an hour to receive our IVs and it was completely quiet. I think they could improve on their placement times, and definitely on price - but understand there’s no incentive to compete on price since it’s like the only IV bar in Charlottesville. Maybe give the people some Netflix while they wait.”

“This experience was great from the very beginning. The staff is super nice. The location is very convenient and very clean. I have a fear of needles but the nurse made me feel very comfortable and I barely felt a thing!! No high pressure sales tactics. I was super dehydrated and almost immediately started to feel the benefits of the fluids and vitamins. I will definitely be returning and most likely joining the membership club. Highly recommend!!”
