“Dr. Mike saved my life and I mean that! Fast forward to April when I received a faulty massage at a place not well known. They spent a lot of unnecessary time on my neck using dangerous techniques that ended up causing me months pain, money, and distress. Shortly after my massage I started to suffer from vertigo, high heart rate upon standing, heart palpitations, coat hanger pain, dizziness, low blood pressure — and even passing out. This led me to the ER several times, I’ve had 7 CT scans since April, I was diagnosed with anxiety and given medication that I knew I didn’t need. I was told that I had POTS and given beta blockers that I knew I didn’t need. I spent months at the doctor. Cardiologist, neurologist, PCP, another chiropractor before I finally found Nucca and Dr. Mike. I knew this issue started with that massage and I knew Something was wrong with my neck. When Dr. Mike did his evaluation, he immediately noticed that I was extremely misaligned. He explained to me what all of the measurements he was taking meant, and as the appointment went on, all of my concerns were validated. I knew that I was right all along, and I was finally going to find some answers. He did x-rays to ensure that my atlas was truly misaligned. The x-rays showed what we could already tell from the measurements, my atlas was completely sideways. He did his adjustment which was painless and gentle. He then took x-rays again to ensure that we had got it back in place. I stood up and immediately could feel a difference in my brain. It was almost like all the blood came rushing back up to my head. Which is essentially exactly what happened. I checked my heart rate when I stood up and it was back to normal, the first time since April that it was not 140 when standing. I was amazed. Since he aligned me almost all of my symptoms have subsided. No more brain fog, no more dizziness, no more high heart rate, no more anxiety attacks, heart palpitations and the list goes on. My wedding is in November and I was terrified I wouldn’t be able to stand at the alter without passing out. Dr. Mike gave me my life back and I’m so grateful!
