The teachers are very good and patient with kids, also skilled and equipped with providing each student with their own unique experience. Mr.Stevens is the perfect teacher for my son, he actually inspires a love for music in my son. I was just hoping my 4 yr old could be more exposed to music and instruments when we started. Mr.Stevens makes learning music so fun and engaging. Now I can tell that my son is learning piano because he loves to and not because I force him to. He loves to practice and I enjoy hearing him play. He looks forward to his lesson every week. I couldn't be happier. They provide different music lessons for all ages....Guitar, Piano, Drums, Voice, etc. I wish I could find my guitar in the closet and take a lesson myself some day. “Stevens SoMA is an exceptional provider of musical instruction in Fluvanna County. I would encourage families OUTSIDE of Fluvanna as well as local to consider Stevens. My son took lessons there for over two years and it was honestly a 100% positive experience. It takes more than musical proficiency to provide quality instruction. Daniel Tyrant is a gifted guitar instructor who offered personalized instruction, expert guidance, encouragement, and thoughtful feedback. Keith and Cindy are always responsive, and rescheduling or virtual instruction are easily accommodated when necessary. Fees are more than reasonable. Further, though recitals can be daunting for musicians and vocalists at any age, it is clear that students at every level feel well-supported through the process, resulting in some impressive performances from all who participatated. I'm so glad that my son was able to build a strong foundation for musicianship through Stevens School of Music and Arts.”
