Second Home Learning Center

Second Home Learning Center is an after-school and before-school program in Harrisonburg that serves elementary students, with a special focus on families where English may not be the first language and those with limited financial resources. The center provides academic enrichment, homework assistance, individual tutoring, transportation to and from local schools, and nutritious snacks. Staffed by educators, college students, and community volunteers, Second Home operates on a sliding scale fee with no child turned away due to inability to pay.
