    About Qianhui Acupuncture Clinic

Qianhui Acupuncture Clinic is a pain control clinic in Lynchburg, Virginia specializing in traditional Chinese medicine techniques. The clinic offers acupuncture, cupping therapy, and moxibustion to address a wide range of chronic pain conditions and health concerns. Unlike Western pain management that often relies on medication, the clinic uses ancient healing modalities that treat the root cause of pain while promoting overall wellness.

One patient with arthritis knee pain reported significant pain reduction, easier sleep, and decreased numbness in their toes after treatment. Frequently Asked Questions

How much does acupuncture cost at Qianhui Acupuncture Clinic?

The clinic accepts insurance for acupuncture services, which can significantly reduce out-of-pocket costs. Many insurance plans now cover acupuncture for chronic pain management. Contact the clinic at (434) 258-1772 to verify your specific insurance coverage and discuss pricing for your treatment plan.

What conditions does Qianhui Acupuncture Clinic treat?

The clinic specializes in pain management and treats a wide range of conditions including arthritis pain (knees, joints), chronic pain, nerve-related issues (numbness, neuropathy), musculoskeletal pain, sleep disorders, and general wellness concerns. The holistic approach often addresses multiple symptoms simultaneously, so patients frequently experience improvements in secondary conditions alongside their primary concern.

What should I expect during my first acupuncture visit?

Your first visit includes a thorough consultation where the practitioner will ask about your primary concern as well as any other health issues you're experiencing. This holistic intake helps create a comprehensive treatment plan. The acupuncture session itself involves the placement of thin, sterile needles at specific points on the body. Many patients find the experience relaxing and report feeling improvements after just one session, though chronic conditions typically require multiple treatments for best results.

Who is acupuncture best suited for?

Acupuncture at Qianhui Acupuncture Clinic is ideal for people dealing with chronic pain conditions, arthritis sufferers, those with nerve pain or numbness, patients who haven't found relief with conventional treatments, and anyone looking for natural pain management alternatives to medication. It's also beneficial for patients dealing with multiple health concerns simultaneously, as traditional Chinese medicine treats the whole person. Acupuncture is generally safe for most people, though pregnant women and those with certain bleeding disorders should consult with the practitioner before treatment.

    Does acupuncture hurt?

Acupuncture needles are extremely thin — much finer than needles used for injections or blood draws. Most patients report feeling little to no discomfort during needle insertion. Some may feel a slight tingling, warmth, or heaviness at the needle sites, which practitioners consider signs that the treatment is working. Many patients find acupuncture sessions deeply relaxing, and some even fall asleep during treatment.

How do I book an appointment at Qianhui Acupuncture Clinic?

You can book online through the clinic's Jane appointment system at https://qzacu.janeapp.com/#staff_member/1, or call (434) 258-1772 to schedule. The clinic is open Monday through Saturday, 9 AM to 6 PM. Online booking allows you to see available time slots and schedule at your convenience.

    What is cupping and moxibustion?

In addition to acupuncture, the clinic offers cupping therapy (placing suction cups on the skin to improve blood flow and release muscle tension) and moxibustion (burning dried mugwort herb near acupuncture points to warm and stimulate healing). These complementary traditional Chinese medicine techniques may be incorporated into your treatment plan based on your specific condition and needs.

How many treatments will I need?

Treatment frequency depends on your condition and how long you've had it. Acute issues may improve in just a few sessions, while chronic conditions like long-term arthritis pain typically require multiple treatments over several weeks for lasting results. Many patients begin with weekly sessions and then transition to maintenance treatments as their symptoms improve. Your practitioner will discuss a recommended treatment plan during your initial consultation based on your specific situation.

    What Customers Love

This was my first time trying cupping and it has worked great! My sciatica pain is gone. I've hurt so much for so long that it took 3 days to realize I was almost running up and down my stairs with no pain. I highly recommend. Office and rooms clean, neat, new equipment and he explained the whole process, was caring and wanted to know if I had any questions. I'm definitely returning ☺️

I have been to a handful of acupuncturists and my treatment here was the best I have ever experienced! I actually doze off during treatment and finally feel results. The office is clean and fresh with really clean and new equipment. He adds a lot of thoughtful touches like a heated table, sound machine, and peppermint essential oil to help create a sense of calm and decrease anxiety - that was a game changer as usually I get anxiety being left alone with the needles in- the peppermint truly relieves that and I can relax. I am so thankful for the help and relief I have received with headaches and nerve pain and the night of treatment, I sleep so well! Highly recommend!

Dr. Qianhui is amazing! I tried cupping for the first time and was very nervous, he made me feel very at ease and the treatment did wonders for my lower back. I am going back again this week and have recommended him to several friends and co-workers!

My lower back pain has been bothering me for years due to injury of playing soccer when I was younger. I have been visiting different acupuncturists, chiropractors and massagers in Virginia, I have to say Dr. Zhang really helped me to relieve and LBP and took good care of me. My close friend refers Dr. Zhang to me since he got good experience from Dr. Zhang. I was not sure whether is worthy it to drive all the way to see him (it is a bit far from where I live), till one day my back pain just flared up and I could not make urgent appointment with my regular go-to acupuncturist because their schedule has booked up. Instead, I gave a try and visit Dr. Zhang. I barely drove to the clinic and he first gave me a full detailed consultation, he pointed out the causes of my LBP, discussed the treatment plan, and tild me where do I need to know to prevent that from happening, he also mentioned several other underlying health issues I have, such as insomnia, gained weight in short-term, and heart burn. The treatment was very successful, Dr. Zhang was very gentle and patient, I did not feel the needle insertion and feel comfortable during the entire treatment.  The office is warm and seems very friendly. He also helped me to book my next appointment based my schedule. It was a fantastic treatment, definitely a supreme acupuncture experience. I have received my treatment for 3 days, and so far, my back does not bother me at all, Dr. Zhang definitely has the knowledge of enthusiasm of taking care his patient.

Dr. Zhang is very kind and very informative about his practice, we were both very happy with how my shoulder pain reacted to the acupuncture. This was my first experience with acupuncture and I recommend it to everyone! It is the most relaxed I've been in a long time!
