“We came with my friend yesterday afternoon and had such a great time. Noina and Lisa are super nice and helped us to choose the technique and art piece we wanted to make. The studio is beautiful, 10/10 recommend !”

“I have been to Noina's art studio for classes a few times while I have been in Chiang Mai. Noina is funny, talented and good at encouraging her students. It is such a great space too. I would highly recommend anyone come for art lessons, no matter what age or ability. Thanks Noina 😁”

“Unfortunately, I had a very different experience than most people it seems. I came in with the intention to recreate an image in watercolor. I selected one from the examples (left painting). I asked the instructor if that was possible and she said yes. She started by teaching color blending basics. I repeated to her many times that I just want to learn how to create the same painting in watercolor. She got very frustrated with me and even threw the sample painting aside and told me to stop looking at it. She essentially operated under two modes: 1) show me some steps and then tell me to use my creativity and continue it on my own with no supervision or 2) do everything for me. Option 2 was what ended up happening the most which is why the painting (right side) looks good. When I pointed out regions that don't look like the sample, she just said "too bad, too late". In addition, we ended up using opaque light fast paint instead of water color for most of the painting. When I asked her why, she said it was because of the painting I chose. I wish she would have said that at the beginning because I would have chosen a different painting. My goal was to learn watercolor, not a paint that is similar to acrylic (which I already know how to use)! I'm very disappointed with the lack of kindness and guidance. Similar to the other review, I was overcharged for my session because she probably started the timer right when I entered the shop. She charged me for 2 hours even though her teaching time was less than 2 hours. Overall, I feel like I paid 400 baht to watch her paint, yell at me, and then give me the painting.”

“I have joined 2 classes with Noina, one with charcoal and another with soft pastel. It was an amazing experience, Noina is a wonderful teacher, she can explain everything so simple. The atmosphere is so friendly and cozy! I love her cats! I would love to join more classes in the future.”
