“Botched install AND reinstall; dismissive, rude staff: Flooring purchased and installed in our home in 2023 and joints began to separate within months. When I reported this by phone to Floor Fashions, I was advised to glue the pieces together using wood glue. Glue failed and another joint started bowing. I went back to the company in June 2024 then waited three months for reinstallation. After another month, the reinstalled pieces are now separating as well. Visited showroom to demand resolution. The response of the warehouse manager – responsible for reinstall – was to note that I had not responded to a follow-up call placed three days after the reinstall (seriously). When I explained thst as a customer it’s my responsibility to pay – not to return his calls, his response was “this conversation is over.” Exchange was witnessed by sales associate who sold us the flooring. “This one star is credit to the sales who was responsive and friendly. The installation is a piece of shit: carpet staying away from baseboard, lots of trims hanging around. Be aware! They will damage your baseboard but clear themselves because their contract says so.”
