“My beloved horse. Abby, suddenly needed surgery and we trailered our girl to Blue Ridge, at the suggestion of our vet at Waterloo. The medical team went to great lengths to explain first the testing and then the surgery. The surgeon was candid about what she might or might not find. Sadly, she explained in great detail what she found and that our sweet girl has to be sent to horse heaven. The surgeon and all staff could not have been more sensitive about my feelings, and the front office patiently waited why I sorted out how to deal with Abby’s body. While I wish the outcome has been different, my vet and I are confident the team did all they could for my girl. I highly recommend them.”

“Once again, the team at Blue Ridge Equine came to together to help me with an emergency with a mini donkey when I was out of town. A veterinarian came that day to evaluate the donkey and did a wonderful job juggling with a very sick donkey, a caregiver that had limited experience with illness and was very worried. The whole Team filled in when needed and while we did lose our cherished little donkey hh left us very peacefully after an all out attempt to diagnose and help him . I cant say enough about this clinic. For over 30 years they have never let me down. You will not disappointed with the care of your animals, whether they are high end athletes or just a loved family pet .”
