“wanted my beard tapered on the sides but got my entire lower half under my chin shaved off. argued over my choice of trimming my beard down to the skin after it got messed up. had good service though for the warm towel and exfoliation that i didnt ask for.”

“I’ve been here twice so far. Both times I sat right down with no wait, and both times got a great haircut. I highly recommend Jason, he did a stellar job. They only take cash but there is an ATM in the shop, and English isn’t the best so it’s helpful if you have pictures. They have some great barbers though.”

“I used to love this place. In fact, I wrote a 5 star review 6-7 years ago, that may still be up under a different account. But, they've raised their prices, and lowered the quality of their services. They are competent barbers, but they just don't seem to understand what you want very well. I know part of it is a language barrier, and showing photos helped for a while, but they still keep messing it up. And the haircuts are fine, they're just not what you ask for. It seems like each person has a sort of go-to haircut they know how to do, and will mold it slightly based on what you ask for. 3 of the last 4 times I've come here they've messed up my haircut. The first time was with Jason, who's actually my favorite, and in my opinion, probably the best barber in there. However, he shaved my widow's peak down to the skin for some reason, which seems fine at first, but as it grows back it hangs down and brushes my forehead. I went back the next time and the haircut was pretty good, but the widow's peak was still in the process of growing back. I came back for the 3rd haircut, and asked for it to be shorter than the photo I showed them. Maybe they didn't understand, because they barely took any off the top. I thought okay, whatever, I'll just come back and get it much shorter next time. But on the 4th haircut, I show the same photo, ask for much shorter on the top, and they removed LESS from the top than they did from the sides. The main reason I went in there is because the top of my hair was too long and was bothering me from the last cut, and not only did the barber not make it shorter proportionally, he cut less from the top than he did from the sides, meaning by next haircut it'll be even longer. I think I might have to get another haircut right away, which is very frustrating. I can't say it's entirely their fault, they made it look similar to the photo (although I think my actual hair is longer than the photo), and I didn't object at the end of the haircut about the top, which I'm kind of kicking myself about. But on the other hand, I clearly asked for it to be shorter than the photo, and it's at least as long, if not longer. I don't know if they're trying to get me to come back sooner, or if they just didn't understand, but this is not the first time this has happened. I used to come here because the haircuts were cheap, about $12 if I remember. They've kept raising their prices, and now it's $20 for a standard haircut ($24 with the tip), which is about the same price as all the other men's barber shops around here (as of late 2025). This was my last time going here, they used to be great, but if I'm going to be paying the same price anyways, I might as well go somewhere where they speak English properly, and will cut my hair how I ask. I'm also not alone in feeling like this, my dad goes there and they mess up his haircuts too. He thinks they don't really understand English, but I know they speak at least a little. Overall, this place used to be great, and it's probably still fine, but I'd recommend sticking with one specific barber, showing photos, and being VERY CLEAR about what you do and do not want, otherwise your haircuts will probably not match what you asked for more than half the time.”

“Very unprofessional experience. The barber was shouting at coworkers while cutting my hair. Because she was distracted, I ended up with painful clipper burn and irritation on my scalp and neck. Clippers should not cause this level of damage. I won’t be returning.”

“I really like this friendly and welcoming place. Jason and Jully are my go to's for cuts, but I've had other barbers, and only had one cut I didn't like in over 20+ visits. Jully is particularly.funny, and all the other barbers know what they're doing. They are from China and understand English well, but do take time to clearly explain what you want so they can give you a great cut. The neck massages are above and beyond, highly recommend!”
